Our Mission Statement

Our mission at Trinity Christian School is, together with church and family, to provide Christ-centered learning experiences. We are dedicated to the total education of the child - mind, body and soul. We will strive to provide for the students’ spiritual, moral, social, physical, emotional and intellectual growth.

Our Commitment and Values

Trinity Christian School strives to provide a nurturing environment for each student’s education, growth and development. Our goal is for students to view themselves as capable and independent learners. We endeavor to provide each student learning experiences in a loving Christian atmosphere. The beliefs of each TCS family, child and staff member will be respected as we fulfill our purpose of providing a nondenominational Christian education. While we believe God has given the primary responsibility for the instruction and development of children to their parents, we seek the opportunity to work hand-in-hand as partners in the teaching and development of yours.

Trinity Lutheran Church/Trinity Christian School Relationship
There is a very close relationship between our school and our church. We have a Christ-based school because of the vision, insight and commitment of the staff and congregational members.

We believe the foundation of Christian faith, life and morality is solidly built in the early years of any child’s life. The church congregation supports Trinity Christian School not only with vision and encouragement but also with prayer and with financial sacrifices. The pastoral staff will continue to meet with the students during occasional mealtime chats, leading devotions at school events and facilitating weekly chapel time.

Trinity Lutheran Church supports our school with prayers and financial gifts. In addition, Trinity Christian School is funded through tuition and fundraising by the parents of enrolled students. Tuition and fundraising helps pay for staff salaries and purchase curriculum, materials and supplies.

School Board
The purpose of the board is to set and enforce policies consistent with the school mission statement. The administrator, board and staff are authorized to make all decisions relating to the well being of our school and children. The board is directly responsible to Trinity Lutheran Church’s council, and ultimately to the congregation. The school board will meet regularly. Minutes from monthly meetings may be reviewed in the school office. The administrator and board members welcome suggestions or concerns. The board consists of staff members, parent representatives and community and/or congregational members.

Parent Project Team
All parents and teachers are members of the PPT and are strongly encouraged to participate. Its purpose is to work together toward the common goals of making positive contributions to Trinity Christian School. The PPT will meet monthly; contact the office to receive dates and times of meetings. Officers will be elected in the fall. Special teams may be formed for specific projects and events, especially for fundraising and recruitment.
